It all started November 2001 when a very handsome seven week old Chocolate Lab entered our home. It was love at first sight and as they say, the rest is history.

Back in the day we were living in the city, while also enjoying our summers camping. We needed a practical, functional, easy to use leash that catered to both lifestyles. We had this idea & our idea turned into reality. 

And that is when Smoochy Poochy, our proudly Canadian Toronto based company sprouted introducing the Optional Hands-free Leash to the pet industry. 

The Smoochy collection has continuously grown over the years; our team takes pride in manufacturing and distributing top quality Canadian made products, meticulous attention to detail in making each product, and unrivaled craftsmanship.
