This warranty is applicable only to products purchased directly from Smoochy Poochy, or from an authorized retail partner. WARRANTY 30 day warranty from date of purchase against manufacture’s defect. By purchasing any Smoochy Poochy product(s), the customer agrees to the warranty and return policy as outlined on the Smoochy Poochy site. WHAT IS NOT COVERED Normal wear and tear Accidental damage Damage caused by misuse or improper care Modifications or alterations to the product Chew marks* Rips or tears * *Can a leash, collar or harness just tear and or rip on its own? NO.  *Can the leash just tear from being used on a walk? NO *How can a product start to rip or tear? This can happen to a product with a nick to the material or a chew to the material. The nick or chew will cause the material to tear. Here are some examples of nicks and chews: a leash dragging on the ground or getting caught on something, dogs accidentally grabbing onto each other’s collars with their mouths as this can puncture the materials that can start a tear, a dog just accidentally chewing on the product. Bottom line is, if the product somehow gets a nick in the material, the nick can enhance the tear or rip.  *Smoochy Poochy product line uses nylon webbing, and Biothane polyvinyl materials. Although both materials are extremely durable, we know a dog can chew through anything, such as furniture, shoes, wood, baseboards, bones, tires, etc. Nylon and Biothane materials are not covered under the warranty for tears, rips, nicks, or chews.  *PLEASE NOTE: before a product is shipped directly to you or to our authorized retail partners, we inspect each product thoroughly for any flaws. All products are shipped in good order.  WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Read the full warranty above. Contact our customer service team at info@smoochypoochy.com within 30 days of purchase. Provide proof of purchase, receipt of purchase, where product was purchased from. Describe your concern and provide a clear photo. THE PROCESS: Smoochy Poochy’s customer service team will review your information. We will contact you once we have reviewed your concern; this can take up to 10 business days. THINGS TO KNOW: The customer is responsible for all shipping costs that may occur.  We must have proof of purchase receipt. Any product(s) being returned must have a RA# (returned authorization number) authorized by Smoochy Poochy. Returned product(s) are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
